Black Forest Theodore, "Teddy" is a 4, coming 5 year old Gypsy gelding (DOB 6/6/17). His height is 14.3 hh, His sire is the incredible Black Forest LKs Legacy, or "Luka", and his dam is Black Forest Sophia, a stunning mare. He was started lightly in harness at 2, started lightly under saddle at 3, and shown as a 3 year old by a 7 year old at the Colorado Gypsy Fest. He spent some time being ridden by lots of kids and small adults as part of a riding program, so with that comes good and bad. He is solid, not spooky, doesn't buck or bolt. He will get a bit pushy with smaller kids, so he's not suitable for a complete beginner. He learned that a complete beginner isn't strong enough to be the boss, so he will decide he wants to eat or stand in the middle of the arena. Unfortunately, Kids lost interest so he' s available. He drives solidly in pair or as a single, he has been out on trails (and LOVES it!). He has also pulled a sled. He would enjoy a home where there is always a variety or activities and something new to learn." Teddy has no real vices. He is great for the farrier and Vet. He is great on the ground and clips, ties, bathes, loads. He is barefoot and has great feet. No heath issues what so ever. He is kept current on all his care.
